The Relationship Specialist is responsible for building relationships with current and potential membership by not only meeting their immediate need but consulting on future needs and recommending credit union products and services to meet those needs. The Relationship Specialist is also responsible for delivering a superior member experience to members and potential members of the credit union who interact with the credit union through our branch locations and over the phone. This individual must have a thorough understanding of credit union processes, products, and services in order to effectively communicate the most appropriate solutions to our members. Applicant must have a strong and proven sales background with the ability to meet or exceed established goal in a fast-paced environment. This person may also be relied on to complete teller duties and transactions as needed in the course of the day.
Responsible for account opening and maintenance while proactively cross-selling credit union products and services to existing and potential members through in-person sales as well as by phone and written correspondence. Answer questions and/or resolve complex technical problems on member accounts.
Responsible for the processing of in-branch loan requests while uncovering possible lending needs through conversations with members and mining the credit reports. Offer solutions that add value to their relationship with the credit union.
Provide service and support for members over the phone dealing with requests that are both routine in nature and some that require extensive research and use of problem solving skills. Take complete ownership of ever call.
May assist in the planning and implementation of branch sales promotion campaigns and perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager, such as working on call lists or external activities to bring business to the branch.

The E-Branch Services Specialist will provide service and support for members over the phone dealing with requests that are both routine in nature and some that require extensive research and use of problem solving skills. This individual will, respond to incoming calls and select the appropriate products and services to meet member request. This will all be done while meeting or exceeding the set call quality and service standards in the call center.
Respond to member service inquires in the time set by management. Send and receive email, fax, and paperwork to and from existing and potential new members for account related activities. Reset passwords, challenge questions, and PINs for members using electronic services according to department procedures.
Take complete ownership of every call whether it requires a call back, extended research, or assistance from other departments. Providing proactive solutions to member service.
Process member transactions accurately, efficiently and timely including accepting cash and check deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments etc. On a self-directed basis, continue to improve in individual level of competency through training and development on established educational programs.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements
Experience:
One to three years previous experience in a call center or retail service position.
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
A high school degree or equivalent
Interpersonal Skills:
A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.
Other Skills:
Must possess computer skills with the ability to handle extensive data entry in an accurate and timely manner. Must be highly outgoing and self-motivated Microsoft Office 2010 or higher specifically in Word, Outlook, Excel.

Physical Requirements:
Performs primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment. Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise. Must be capable of working weekends. Occasional work before or after regular business hours may be required for various events.

The Teller I is responsible for engaging with members, completing financial transactions, and offering products and services to enhance the member's financial lives.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Consistently meet all Shell FCU Service Commitments; Shell FCU Employee Creed and Shell FCU Service Distinctions.
Accountable to maintain knowledge of and comply with all applicable rules and regulations required within the scope of duties, including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
Required to complete annual training sessions as instructed or scheduled.
Perform job duties and responsibilities in compliance with Shell FCU policies, procedures, philosophy, and standards of performance.
Provide friendly, professional, and personal service to all members.
Must be able to work the rotating opening, closing and Saturday schedule, as needed.
Receives and processes member financial transactions, including but not limited to:
Deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments; negotiate checks, process Cash Advances and Western Union transactions, process coin tickets.
Work within assigned Teller I limits.
Prepare CTR & SAR worksheets as required.

Handle cash and balance cash drawer daily.
Investigates and resolves out-of-balance conditions immediately.
Assist with preparing cash/coin shipments and orders for the branch.
May assist in training new staff or the further development of team members.
Assist members with their service needs related to, including but not limited to:
Change of Address, issue/maintenance ATM & debit cards, check orders, safe deposit box.
Cross-sell Credit Union products and services based upon member needs.
Understand and comply with all procedures related to logs, including but not limited to:
Dual control, buy/sells from the vault, night drop, mail log.
Must take the initiative to assist with problem solving, troubleshooting and to provide support in all areas of the branch, as needed.
Meet/exceed personal and branch goals.
Assist the team with daily responsibilities as needed, including but not limited to:
Following opening and closing procedures.
