Responsibilities Speech and Language Therapy services include language development, pragmatic/social language skills, articulation, phonology, feeding/swallowing, reading, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Provide comprehensive and individualized services to children and their caregivers with the utmost clinical integrity. Remain up to date with the most recent advancements for Speech and Language treatment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and implement them in therapy. Record timely and accurate notes on child's progress for evaluations, billing, and medical records while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance. Follow ethical and client care standards and conduct as outlined by InBloom and the National Board for Certification in Speech and Language Therapy. Provide training and consultation to parents for carrying over across environments, develop individualized home or community programs/recommendations when needed.
