ABOUT THE JOB
SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing both shipping and receiving functions to support efficient warehouse operations at the Elkhart facility. Key responsibilities include accurately handling incoming shipments by verifying contents, tagging materials, and recording inventory movements, as well as executing outbound processes such as picking, packaging, labeling, and routing customer orders. CORE DUTIES
Order Fulfillment and Shipping
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, maintaining a 100% on-time delivery and picking accuracy rate.
Follow customer-specific shipping instructions and select appropriate shipping methods.
Inspect products for damage prior to shipment and ensure secure, cost-effective packaging and skid preparation.
Label shipments correctly and complete all required documentation.
Process and stage inter-facility transfers efficiently.
Handle receiving paperwork and ensure accurate product put-away.
Prepare and ship customer sample requests as directed by the sales team.

Receiving Operations
Unload incoming shipments manually or using material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
Sort and inspect cargo prior to unloading and verify contents against manifests, invoices, or purchase orders.

Record quantities and item movements using RF guns and MRP systems to maintain accurate inventory records.
Repack damaged containers and ensure proper handling of all received goods.
Communicate with internal departments or external vendors to resolve discrepancies such as shortages, damages, or incorrect shipments.
Maintain equipment storage areas to protect inventory and ensure accessibility.
Support interdepartmental transfers and inventory staging as needed.

We take that responsibility seriously with accuracy, quality, and speed at the heart of what we do.
We're looking for a Distribution Center Associate to help power that mission. You'll be part of the team that keeps products flowing by receiving, assembling, packing, and shipping orders with precision and pride.
What You'll Do
Receive, inspect, and process inbound materials and components.
Pick, pack, and ship finished goods and custom orders for enterprise customers.
Support light assembly and quality inspection as needed.
Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation in NetSuite.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and labeling/printing equipment safely and efficiently.
Keep work areas organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
Contribute ideas to improve workflows and efficiency. OuterFactor values continuous improvement through building, not just doing.
Who You Are
2+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or production environments.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated by accuracy and consistency.
Comfortable using basic technology and learning new systems (NetSuite experience a plus.)
Team Player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Able to lift up to 40 lbs and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
