Identifies and mitigates potential and actual safety hazards, ensuring equipment is removed from the patient area and repaired as needed.
Adheres to universal precautions and infection control techniques, organizes tasks to meet patient care and unit needs, stays flexible to changes, and remains accountable for continuing education and policy updates.
Required Skills and Experience:
License: NBSTSA or NCCT certification, or LPN license
Minimum education: must be a graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology program, and eligible for certification
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Day shift, option between 5x8s, 4x10s, and 3x12s. Call is on a rotating schedule with a 30 min response time required, on-site call house available.
