Our firm provides IT support for businesses in the NY-metro area, working with hundreds of businesses across a diverse range of industries. Internships typically run +/-6 months. Employment opportunities may ensue depending on your success in the position and employment availability at the end of the internship period. The candidate should be a motivated individual looking to work in a fun, young and fast-paced atmosphere. Responsibilities will be diverse and require personal judgment. The future team member would work from our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office daily and when needed travel onsite to our clients.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, via remote assistance as well as onsite.
Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot client networks, servers, and infrastructure components.
Collaborate with senior engineers to implement IT solutions tailored to clients' needs.
Assist with documentation, including network diagrams, system configurations, and client communications.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
Qualifications
This job absolutely requires the following - do not apply if you don't have:
Strong interest in IT, networking, and systems administration.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Must be organized, detail oriented, and responsible
