What You Should Know
The Summer Internship is an in-person, temporary, non-exempt position, requiring up to 32 hours of work per week for 8 weeks. As a temporary employee, with the exception of 401(k), you will not be eligible for employee benefits.

Summary:
Tax Interns are responsible for contributing to the efficient execution of tax engagements, while learning from and collaborating with experienced professionals across Sensiba's diverse tax practice. This role offers rotational exposure to various specialty areas, including individual and business tax compliance, real estate, manufacturing and distribution, venture capital, and high-net-worth client services. Interns will assist in preparingtax returns, researching tax issues, and documenting client data, while beginning to build professional relationships across the firm.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
Support the organization and maintenance of tax documents and client information
Develop deep understanding of our tax software and other relevant tools
Support the tax team in compliance and planning projects
Conduct tax research and analysis under the guidance of our experienced staff
Handle administrative tasks as needed, such as data entry and document preparation
Qualifications:
Enrollment in a bachelors or masters degree program in accounting or business/economics with an emphasis/concentration in accounting
Expected completion of bachelors or masters degree in accounting between December 2027 and June 2028
Preferred accounting GPA of 3.0 or above
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Positive attitude and growth mindset
Compensation:
This role offers a competitive hourly rate. The anticipated ranges for this position are outlined below and are subject to change:

The Cost Accountant job ensures that Cavco's End of Month reports and records are appropriately maintained in a timely and accurate manner.
The Cost Accountant is a non-degreed accountant (although business degree preferred) supporting coordination of initiatives supporting plant operations. This role works independently executing process steps, conducting analysis, problem solving and delivering recommendations.
