Under the supervision of a Project Manager and/or Task Leader, the Aviation Project Engineer will manage complex aviation engineering projects from concept through completion. This work will include a wide array of aviation projects with commercial and general aviation clients. Summary/ Objective The position of a Boilermaker- Lead is responsible for the day-to-day mechanical activities performed in client facilities. The Shop Machinist is responsible for the set-up and operations of Engine Lathes, Horizontal boring mills, VTL's, maintaining equipment and supplies. Operates machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts and instruments. Reviews engineering specifications for a work order and performs calculations to determine the right tools, materials, and sequence of cutting and finishing operations. Measures, examines and tests completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments. Aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines. Monitors the accuracy of machining work. Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience with CNC machines and manual lathes or relevant industry experience preferred. Ability to read a Calipers and Micrometers preferred. Ability to provide all hand tools as needed to complete daily tasks specified by the Shop Foreman. TEAM is looking for Safety Valve Technicians for a turnaround starting February 24th and ending around March 23rd in Toledo, OR. Work schedule is 7/12s. Perform complete over-haul and testing of all manufacturers control valves, actuators and positioners to include: Fisher, Masoneilan, Rotork, Automax, and others. Execute diagnostics and trouble-shooting in shop and field environments. Directly reports to the Operations Manager. Job Qualifications Education preferred: high school diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 3- 5 years of experience. Control Valve Manufacturers Training Courses and/or certifications preferred.
