Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Digital Delivery Manager to lead our multi-disciplinary CAD design team. AECOM's broad technical capabilities, global footprint and experience in executing large scale projects uniquely position us to lead in traditional and advanced nuclear technologies. This position will provide design coordination leadership on a variety of energy projects and programs across various markets and client types. The ideal candidate is an expert in leveraging digital platforms coupled with a proficiency in their technical discipline critical to delivering our innovative energy projects.
The job responsibilities of this role will include but are not limited to:
Team supervision and leadership:
Support Department Manager in advancing the culture of technical excellence and accountability
Supervise, mentor and lead a team of designers through their individual and technical development for greater utility to the organization and overall career satisfaction
Lead improvements in project efficiencies by creating, updating, and implementing standards/templates as well as software application advances
Monitor and track individual team member workload
Support business development activities by developing deliverable lists, hours build up and strategic approaches to proposals
Actively support recruiting efforts
Project participation:
Responsible for the design work on assigned projects; function as the discipline CAD lead where appropriate
Responsible for the project's complete and integrated set of digital project content which includes but not limited to construction documents, federated model, database, etc.
Develops QA processes in project execution workflow: identification of utility clashes, creation of relocation alignments, interface coordination, survey and laser scan incorporation
Coordinate multi-discipline CAD team members, as necessary, across the full spectrum of projects and client solutions
Provide quality control reviews of work developed by others
Support projects through complete life cycle including the feasibility phase, preliminary and detailed design, issue-for-bid, construction, start-up, and commissioning
Monitor your teams project progress to ensure quality, on-time and on-budget delivery of projects
Ensure that the technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of the design work
Participate in and present design work at client meetings including those requiring occasional travel
Provides overall direction of BIM activities in assigned areas including BIM implementation, integration, development, maintenance, potential liabilities and/or concerns
Creates and manages standard operating procedures and processes.
Authorizes access to appropriate data and coordinates efforts with personnel in other departments, project managers, outside design firms, and client representatives.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or AA/AS + 12 years of relevant experience
Minimum of two years of project leadership experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Expert proficiency in Autodesk 2D/3D platform packages collaborative model environments such as Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks
Experience in the management of Common Data Environments including ProjectWise, BIM 360, ACC
Database administration experience
Programming competency (e.g. LISP)
4D+ Model data management capabilities
Experience leveraging laser scan or other data sets to inform design development
Knowledge of typical stakeholders and be able to anticipate data requests and expectations
Understanding of vendor documentation and it's use as a reference for assigned tasks
Demonstrated experience in participating complex, multi-discipline programs/projects and CAD teams
Equipment Arrangement expertise in heavy industrial and power generation facilities
Passion in developing talented technical teams
Experience on full EPC, Design/Build projects from start to finish.
Experience workshare with high value engineering centers
Field construction and commissioning experience
Successful experience working in remote and multi-discipline teams
Familiarity with industry codes and standards

Job Description
AECOM US+LATAM Energy practice is expanding our operations leadership team and is seeking candidates to lead our Engineering teams in our Industrial and Generation department. This leadership role will be responsible for: overseeing and developing the department's engineering capabilities in alignment with business needs, serving as the key liaison between the technical and business development activities, and providing strategic vision to improve the I&G department's technical resources by identifying strategic hires and implementing continuous improvement techniques to increase efficient execution of work assignments in accordance with AECOM Quality and Safety standards.

Resource Management

+ Take direction from engineering team and project managers on required design changes
+ Imports Survey data and surfaces to build design basefiles
+ Tracks project design changes

AECOM is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Water business line, specializing in heavy mechanical engineering. In this role, you will design, develop, and oversee the fabrication of large-scale mechanical systems that are critical to water infrastructure.
You will work on a variety of complex projects involving waterworks gates such as vertical lift gates, radial gates, sluice gates, Tainter gates, and sector gates. Additionally, you will be required to size and select winches, wire rope and chain hoisting systems, hydraulic, pneumatic and electric actuators, gear systems, and other precision mechanisms associated with these gates, delivering solutions that meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
