First, the Crisis Clinician will be paired with a MCRT Crisis Case Manager to provide mobile crisis response. Safety is critical in these roles and the pair will request law enforcement support at their discretion. The pair will de-escalate, assess and support individuals through their crisis and complete timely follow up, either by phone or at their home, to ensure the individual connects to appropriate resources and/or the crisis has resolved. The second role of the Crisis Clinician is to provide ongoing clinical support for clients on MCRT case managers' caseloads. This includes outreach visits with MCRT case managers to high acuity clients or those with complex circumstances for the purposes of clinical assessment, safety planning, and crisis stabilization. Other duties includes: Responds across Johnson County as part of a 2-person team, providing mobile crisis interventions to a variety of individuals in crisis.
