Promotes interest in recreational activities Engages with clients in activities and interactions designed to encourage achievement of treatment goals Documents in client records timely, accurately, and appropriately Applies de-escalation techniques to help manage client's emotions, behavior and participation in treatment Assists with unit cleaning, organization of new admits charts, discharge process, filing, etc. Initiates client/employee incident reports Diagnose and treat behavior health of client dealing with substance abuse Facilitate sessions with individuals, groups, and families Create and support treatment plan based on client needs Monitor client progress during treatment Will be responsible for providing various ecclesiastical duties in support of the company's and owner's core beliefs to include but not limited to: providing prayer to clients, leading Christian Bible studies/devotionals and providing practical biblical guidance REQUIREMENTS: Masters Degree in Psychology, Sociology, or related field required Experience in Healthcare / Behavioral Health is highly preferred Comfortable working in a time-sensitive, confidential environment where there are continually changing priorities Write and compose emails and letters that are grammatically correct Must be very computer/software/internet savvy (Microsoft Office) Comfortable in an environment where over-communication is needed Exceptional communication and follow through skills Ability to meet deadlines and work professionally Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA laws regarding healthcare treatment If in recovery, must have at least two (2) years clean time
