As a Therapist with FCT, you will:
Work a flexible weekly schedule that includes some evening hours for client appointments, bases on client/family availability
Learn the evidenced-based framework of FCT and the four phases of treatment-including completing Level 1 Certification within 12 months of hire, supported by the supervisor and team trainer.
Provides direct clinical treatment using methods compatible with FCT principles and practices for assigned cases and meets fidelity requirements for treatment intensity (5 hours per week per family). Caseloads vary from 3-5 families, depending on travel.
Maintain clear, concise, and timely documentation records in an Electronic Health Record system to meet state, county and EBP standards.
Collaborate with all relevant systems and key participants to ensure buy-in and cooperation throughout FCT treatment
Participate in weekly individual and team supervision and provide kind, direct, and honest feedback to team members, including participation in peer reviews.
Participate in a rotating 24/7 caregiver coaching support system that has been established by the team (1-2 weekends in a quarter).
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Background Check Required

Essential Duties
Conduct initial and comprehensive diagnostic assessments for youth referred to the program, ensuring a thorough understanding of each individual's unique needs and circumstances.
Develop tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based practices and trauma-informed interventions, effectively addressing the specific challenges faced by each client.
Provide engaging individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and supportive environment that encourages personal growth and healing.
Utilize youth and team's feedback continuously to refine and adjust treatment strategies, ensuring that care remains responsive to evolving needs and goals.
Serve as the primary clinical communicator, coordinating care among internal staff, schools, medical providers, and other key stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to the client's well-being.
Maintain comprehensive and organized clinical documentation, including progress notes, assessments, quarterly reports, treatment updates, and discharge summaries, to meet compliance and quality assurance standards.
Actively participate in court hearings, lead multidisciplinary team meetings, and required staffing sessions as necessary, contributing clinical insights to support the clients care coordination.
Monitor clients progress through the application of standardized clinical tools, assessing the effectiveness of interventions and identifying areas for continued improvement.
Lead and facilitate therapeutic groups within the home, providing a structured setting for shared experiences and peer support.
Provide crisis intervention when needed, supporting staff in de-escalation efforts to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
Ensure that treatment plans incorporate input and insights from all providers involved in the client's care, promoting a collaborative approach to treatment.
Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in all interactions, demonstrating a commitment to the welfare and dignity of each client.
Qualifications Education
MA/MS in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field; license-eligible
Experience
One year of related clinical experience preferred
Experience with youth, trauma, or residential settings is a plus, but not required
Other Requirements
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Ability to meet OHU insurance requirements
Strong documentation, communication, and crisis-response skills
Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment
Physical Demands & Work Environment Therapists will work inside the Hope House environment and occasionally in community settings. Job Description
Community Support Team
The Team Lead Case Therapist II reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
This role is responsible for providing intensive case management services to individuals with chronic and/or persistent mental illness or co-occurring disorders.
Specific responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
Assisting clients in engaging in needed services, assisting in finding and utilizing community resources, applying for and re-determining benefits assistance, assisting clients in having basic necessities such as food, housing and safety resources.
Caseload: This is a team-based approach. The team shares the caseload, but each team member is individually assigned specific clients for consistent follow-up and support.
Population: Clients have higher needs and are at higher risk of crisis and instability than those clients engaged in traditional case management services.
Schedule:
40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00
*No overnight or weekend hours.
Qualifications
Required:
Experience and training in assessment, individual, family, and group counseling
Master's Degree with LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC required, or eligible for licensure
Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field
Preferred:
3-5 years in intensive treatment setting and /or mental health setting.
