Position Summary

Key Responsibilities of the Lead Therapist
Supervise and support clinical staff, including onboarding, training, and evaluations

Participate in on-call rotation and crisis response

Qualifications
Required:
Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field

Preferred:
5+ years of clinical experience in residential, school, or therapeutic settings

Job Description
Community Support Team
The
Team Lead Case Therapist II
reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.
This role is responsible for providing intensive case management services to individuals with chronic and/or persistent mental illness or co-occurring disorders.
Specific responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
Assisting clients in engaging in needed services, assisting in finding and utilizing community resources, applying for and re-determining benefits assistance, assisting clients in having basic necessities such as food, housing and safety resources.
Caseload:
This is a team-based approach. The team shares the caseload, but each team member is individually assigned specific clients for consistent follow-up and support.
Population
: Clients have higher needs and are at higher risk of crisis and instability than those clients engaged in traditional case management services.
Schedule:
40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8:30-5:00
*No overnight or weekend hours.
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum two years of experience working in clinical treatment setting in substance abuse and/or mental health setting.
Must be computer comfortable
Master's degree in behavioral health field and license eligible.
2 years of experience in intensive treatment setting with individual and group counseling in substance abuse setting and /or mental health setting.
Customer Service skills. Experience with motivational interviewing style.
Must be license eligible at time of hire with timeframe determined by manager to secure license in behavioral health field, which may include licensed social worker, professional counselor, psychologist, marriage and family therapist.
Preferred:
Certification in addictions preferred.
2-5 years of experience working in clinical treatment setting in substance abuse and/or mental health setting.
Prefer Licensed LCPC, LCSW, PsyD, LMFT or other license in behavioral health.
CERT CADC, LIC CPC, LIC LCSW, LIC, LPC, LIC LSW, LIC MSW
2-5 years; some program treatment
Certification in addictions preferred.
