What you'll be doing: The Milieu Therapist is a licensed therapist who facilitates skills groups and psychotherapy groups based on core curriculum, provides meal monitoring and meal support, and offers milieu support, de-escalation and behavior coaching to patients in inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels of care. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Facilitates curriculum-based groups Provides meal monitoring and support. Documentation of groups, meals and patient check-ins and observations 15% Provides support to Milieu including the following: De-escalation and crisis management Bathroom monitoring and support for eating disorder patients Monitoring outside breaks Conducts self-harm and suicide assessment Support morning routine in IP/Res programs Collects and reports weights, vitals and urine in some settings Implements individual behavior management plans for some patients and serves as clinical lead for the program in standalone programs in evenings and weekends. Will lead some psychotherapy groups.
