We are seeking a highly qualified air compressor technician who is experienced troubleshooting a variety of compressor makes and models. Service Technicians are responsible for performing shop and/or field repairs, maintenance service and troubleshooting of air compressors and its components. Essential Job Functions Perform technical skills including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of compressed air systems and accessories Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of compressed air systems and/or accessories both during normal working hours and after-hours, weekends, and holidays as directed Perform scheduled preventative maintenance service and/or repairs of compressed air systems and/or accessories Read and interpret operational manuals, electrical schematics, general compressed air equipment literature, and work orders to perform required maintenance and/or repairs Perform basic mathematical calculations; including but not limited to, totaling work orders and basic compressed air formulas Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties Detect faulty operations, defective material and report them and any other unusual situations to the service manager in a timely manner Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly shop work areas, company vehicles, and job site work areas Drive company vehicle to and from job sites throughout the day. Our ski/snowboard technicians are the heart of our service program, providing customers with technical know-how while providing repair and maintenance expertise for their equipment. In addition to friendly and knowledgeable customer service, technicians are responsible for a variety of ski and snowboard services, including boot fitting; binding installation and adjustment; function testing; ski/snowboard tuning, including stone grinding and hot waxing; delamination repair; base welding and epoxy work. Technicians also perform general shop maintenance, including ski tuning machines. During the busiest part of our season, technicians are often asked to help out in other parts of the store as well, all while ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and functionality in all aspects of the shop operations. All Peter Glenn technicians hold customer safety as a primary consideration. All equipment returned to customers from our shop has been carefully examined and cared for as though it were our own.
