Job Description
Turner & Townsend are seeking an experienced Senior CSA Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the preparation of detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects, ensuring effective cost management and project success.
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects.
Review project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and required materials.
Lead the development of comprehensive cost management plans with project teams.
Analyze project requirements and provide value engineering options.
Perform cost risk analysis and provide input into value engineering.
Communicate and collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as value management and value engineering.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
Developing cost plans and estimates from concept through detailed design across multiple geographic regions; with internal and external staff.
Delivering and presenting updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones.
Experience in providing program-level estimates for specific scopes of work
Coordinate, manage, and supervise the work of support staff.
Reviewing proposed design changes/new technologies and preparing estimates within appropriate accuracy levels.
Help drive cost model trends by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing cost information from completed projects.

The Project Accountant will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and client stakeholders to manage contracts, purchase orders, change orders, and invoices, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution. Responsibilities:

Job Description
Turner & Townsend are seeking a Senior Risk Consultant to identify, assess, and manage risks associated with construction projects. This position involves working closely with project teams, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to ensure that potential risks are mitigated and managed effectively throughout the lifecycle of construction projects.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across various stages of construction projects, including planning, design, execution, and completion.
Identify potential risks (financial, operational, environmental, legal, safety-related, etc.) that may impact the delivery of construction projects.
Use risk management tools and techniques to assess the likelihood and impact of identified risks.
Develop and recommend strategies for mitigating identified risks, including insurance, contingency planning, contract management, and other proactive measures.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to implement risk management plans and ensure that mitigation actions are followed.
Continuously monitor the risk landscape throughout the project lifecycle to track new risks and changes in existing risks.
Prepare and present regular risk reports to senior management, highlighting potential issues, risk exposure, and the effectiveness of mitigation actions.
Assist in updating the project risk register to reflect evolving risk profiles.
Use quantitative and qualitative risk analysis techniques (such as Monte Carlo simulations, decision trees, and sensitivity analysis) to model potential risk scenarios and their impact on project objectives.
Perform cost-benefit analysis of risk management strategies to determine the most cost-effective solutions.
Communicate risk-related issues clearly to stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and project teams.
Facilitate discussions on risk tolerance and ensure alignment with the project's risk management framework.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure that risk management processes and activities align with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Assist in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental guidelines during project execution.
Participate in training sessions to enhance risk management knowledge and improve project risk handling capabilities across the organization.
SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering or field related to construction.
Minimum 7 years of applicable experience
Experience in construction management is highly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for risk analysis and reporting.
Knowledge of construction processes, contract management, and project management principles.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to identify potential risks that might not be immediately apparent.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication skills.

Job Description
Turner & Townend is seeking an experienced Cost Trend Manager responsible for analyzing, managing, and forecasting cost trends throughout the lifecycle of large‑scale data center construction programs. This role sits at the intersection of preconstruction, estimating, market intelligence, and program controls, ensuring early visibility into cost drivers and enabling strategic budgeting decisions. The ideal candidate has deep preconstruction experience and a strong understanding of cost modeling, benchmarking, escalation forecasting, and market conditions specific to mission‑critical facilities.
This role can work a hybrid schedule, and the project site is located approximately 20 miles west of Phoenix.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain cost trend models for data center construction, including labor, materials, equipment, commodities, and subcontractor markets.
* Track historical cost data and analyze patterns to provide accurate cost escalation forecasts.
* Identify emerging cost risks and opportunities based on market analysis, vendor input, and construction economics.
* Maintain dashboards and reporting tools that communicate cost trends to executive leadership.
* Partner closely with estimating teams during conceptual and schematic design to develop cost benchmarks and predictive cost modeling.
* Lead cost trending during early design iterations, capturing and communicating cost deltas.
* Validate project budgets at each design milestone using trend data, market conditions, and historical performance.
* Provide input into procurement strategies based on cost trend insights.
* Conduct ongoing research into construction market conditions (labor rates, material indices, supply chain constraints, regional cost factors).
* Build relationships with contractors, vendors, and industry partners to gather cost intelligence.
* Maintain up‑to‑date commodity indexes and regional cost databases relevant to data center builds (steel, concrete, electrical gear, generators, HVAC equipment, etc.).
* Own the monthly/quarterly cost trend reports and present findings to internal stakeholders, including Finance, Development, and Program Management.
* Ensure consistency and accuracy in cost trend methodologies across all projects and regions.
* Support risk and contingency evaluations at the program level.
* Work with Design, Engineering, Sourcing, and Construction teams to identify cost‑impacting changes early.
* Provide guidance during value engineering exercises to help optimize design without compromising performance.
* Partner with Procurement to inform bid strategies and supplier negotiations.

Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience in preconstruction, cost management, estimating, or project controls within large‑scale commercial or mission‑critical construction.
* Strong background in preconstruction processes including conceptual estimating, benchmarking, and cost modeling.
* Experience with data center construction or heavy MEP‑intensive projects.
* Deep understanding of construction economics, cost indices, and commodity trends.
* Proficiency with estimating software and data analysis tools (e.g., CostX, WinEst, RSMeans, Power BI, Excel).
* Ability to synthesize complex data and communicate insights clearly to executives.
* Experience working for a major data center developer, hyperscaler, or top GC.
* Familiarity with procurement of large‑scale electrical and mechanical systems.
* Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
