Advise students with issues related to dropping courses and changing schedules, seeking support as needed, while ensuring that the school's course selection and drop policies are adhered to;
Review student transcripts and the entry of credits into the online transcript system;
Follow procedures to ensure that Connections Academy transcripts are accurate and up-to-date;
Work with the administrative assistants to obtain school records from the student's previous school (where applicable) and forwarding student records when appropriate;
Implement programs for students and families related to interpersonal adjustment issues;
Work with school teams to identify and help families access school and community resources;
Participate in the development of crisis prevention and management plans for the school and serve as a key member of the Student Support Team (SST);
Coordinate a team of middle and high school teachers to help identify students who are “at risk” or “in crisis”; Act as the main point of contact for these students and families, communicating regularly with them;
Oversee and maintain the Personal Learning Plan (PLP) for each student;

Position Summary
The University of Oregon's College of Education seeks to create a pool of qualified candidates to fill periodic instructional vacancies in the EDUC prefix research methodology and statistics course sequence. The EDUC department anticipates hiring lecturers and instructional assistants for graduate-level courses in the following content areas: (a) introductory research methods in education and the social sciences, (b) quantitative research methods, statistics, and advanced statistics for educational and social science research, and (c) qualitative research methods.
Lecturers who serve as the Instructor of Record are contracted for approximately 156 hours a term (averages 12 hours a week) per course. Instructional Assistants are assigned to courses with large enrollment and will provide instructional support to the instructor of record. Instructional Assistants are contracted for approximately 52 hours for the term, per course, or an average of 4 hours a week in the term.
Duties of Lecturers (instructor of record) and Instructional Assistants may include course preparation, classroom teaching, preparation and evaluation of student assignments and exams, and scheduled office hours. Some courses meet during evenings or are delivered to distant sites via video conferencing. Some courses are offered exclusively online; in these cases, instructors should make themselves available for student contact via email, online video conferencing, or phone in lieu of office hours. Position Summary
Mathnasium of Eugene is looking for an exceptional math instructor/tutor to create an engaging and productive learning experience for students. The ideal candidate is a bright, passionate, and dedicated professional with excellent interpersonal, mathematical, and instructional skills. All applicants are required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check. Following hiring, the new team member is required to complete (paid online) training in the Mathnasium Method. This is a part-time role with flexible hours between 5 and 20 hours/week.
Job Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional instruction/tutoring services to students
* Participate in positive interactions with parents and establish a high level of confidence and program value
* Become proficient with digital educational materials & processes
* Teach using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices which include individualized instruction in a group setting
* Assess students' progress throughout instructional sessions, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students
* Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework
* Support the maintenance of a clean & professional learning environment
* Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks as needed
Qualifications
* A passion for math and working with students
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
* Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
* Willingness to learn and be trained
* Priority consideration will be given to applicants with experience teaching in a Mathnasium center

The Instructional Assistant for the Developmental Learning Classroom (DLC) supports the special education teacher to promote access and inclusion for students with significant learning needs. MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS
