Primary Duties Math Center tutors assist with answering students' math questions on a drop-in basis. Students who visit the Math Center may be enrolled in classes that range from Introductory Algebra to Differential Equations, with the majority of students being in College Algebra. List of Job Duties: * Ensure students sign in and sign out to help keep track of traffic in the Math Center at different times and days throughout the semester * Work alongside another instructor and/or student hourly to answer students' math questions from a wide range of courses * Submit bi-weekly timesheets to report hours worked in the Math Center, as well as leave requests for any absences that occur Required Competencies Math Center Student Hourlies should have a strong understanding and fluency of mathematics and its notation, ranging from basic math to Calculus.
