The Ultrasound Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in the evaluation and treatment of patients. **Essential Functions**
+ Performs all ultrasound procedures independently, adhering to department protocols and ensuring high-quality, diagnostic imaging results.
+ Verifies patient identification and ensures the appropriate procedures are ordered and acknowledged prior to conducting imaging.
+ Recognizes and documents pathologies during scanning for interpretation by the radiologist, following established protocols.

+ Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control guidelines.

**Qualifications**

Per Diem staff must submit a two-week notice of resignation.

What You Will Do

Ensures equipment is properly functioning. Reports potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel. Lock/tag out equipment if appropriate.
Ensures prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history). Maintain accurate and detailed records of ultrasound procedures, patient information, and results in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Assists in maintaining a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.

ROLE:
Provide mobile ultrasound services to our client base

Job Summary

Accurately documents imaging procedures and patient information in the electronic health record system, ensuring all associated documents are scanned into PACS for radiologist interpretation.
Monitors and maintains an adequate supply of imaging materials and coordinates inventory replenishment as needed.

Qualifications

What You Will Do
