The Ultrasound Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist physicians in the evaluation and treatment of patients. Performs duties necessary to maintain accreditation. Provides safe radiology services to self, patients and co-workers. Responds timely to all forms of communication. Provides assistance for patients and their families in the department and during transport as appropriate, including any observed needs of the patients. Must be efficient in the use of all transport equipment, office equipment and related material essential to good patient care and reports any problems when necessary.
