Responsible for helping to manage the Commercial & SBA loan portfolio as assigned. Perform loan reviews on the existing portfolio to reaffirm risk ratings, and upgrade/downgrade when applicable, and ensure borrowers are in compliance with covenants. In addition, will be required to occasionally contact borrowers, conduct site visits and customer meetings, and work with the credit team and loan officers to resolve customer problems. Also assist team with various Board and executive management reports.
Essential Functions
* Conduct regular loan monitoring reviews.
* Prepare Credit Reviews to assess asset quality, including performance against original underwriting expectations.
* Evaluate borrower/sponsor financial statements, rent rolls, project status reports, and overall credit condition.
* Coordinate site visits and prepare site visit reports in accordance with Credit policies and procedures.
* Assist the Portfolio Management Team with reporting on the overall portfolio, including asset quality, stress testing, industry and market analysis, asset allocation, reserves, and non-performing loan analysis.
* Maintain accurate loan risk ratings by analyzing loan performance and preparing annual reviews.
* Ensure compliance with the Bank's Credit Policy and regulatory standards.
* Serve as the loan-level expert for a portfolio of complex construction, permanent, and/or C&I loans.
* Maintain a high degree of professionalism in post-closing relationships with borrowers to encourage repeat business.
* Complete site visits, covenants, and annual reviews in a timely manner.
* Maintain reporting information on relevant tracking systems for accurate reporting.
* Participate in meetings, trainings, and special projects as assigned by management.
* Work on miscellaneous projects related to credit functions or across the bank as needed.
* Assist loan officers with Abrigo tickler maintenance, covenant tracking and financial statement retention.
* Follow up with loan officers to obtain updated financial information including business and personal tax returns and personal financial statements.
* Assist borrowers and loan officers in modifying loans as needed for payment modifications, loan restructuring, collateral release, etc..
* Draft memos for any substantial changes in a borrower's financial stability or ownership structure.
* Keep informed of industry changes, trends, and best practices.

The Commercial Loan Specialist is a key support function to the commercial lending team. She/he assists with various commercial loan servicing activities, including but not limited to on-boarding of new and existing customer information, direct follow up with customers for required information, assist lending team with meeting reporting deadlines, database management, site visits and preliminary underwriting and customer interaction and correspondence.
Essential Functions
Address overdrawn accounts situations
Order credit reports on borrowers from Experian as needed.
Perform site visits of customers place of business
Assist team with prep of credit memos with the loan officers for various purposes, including renewals, commitment extensions and loan revisions.
Process servicing requests for existing loan customers, such as statement requests and copies of other documents.
Monitor and report on assigned loan portfolio activity to bank management as requested.
Follow up with borrowers to obtain financial information or documentation
Follow up with borrowers to obtain open items to facilitate the loan closing process.
Obtain environmental report bids and engage vendors
Coordinate with borrowers and branch staff to open required deposit accounts before closing.
Communicate with people outside the organization on a regular basis including borrowers, brokers, and accountants.
Analyze personal credit data and personal financial statements to assist in the completion of Letters of Interest and commercial credit underwriting
Assist with commercial loan/payment collections
Begin the Loan Proposal write up and input as much information as possible, including existing deposit and loan balances, property info, code page info, etc.
Attend loan closing if the loan officer is unavailable, depending on level of experience
Upload all documents and correspondence to Abrigo (financials, LPs, memos)
Move loans to closing once signed commitment letter and fees are received
Assist Portfolio Management with obtaining required financials and related information to complete Annual Reviews

**Job Description:**
Manual Ethical Hacking is part of the Application Development Security Framework Program within Bank of America's Cyber Security Assurance Offensive Security group. The program provides services to assess the security resilience of the bank's applications to malicious hacking activity.
