Valley View School District company history timeline
Opened in 1960 as Kindergarten through Sixth Grade
The school opened in September 1969 and was built at the same time as Maple Grove and Owyhee Elementary.
Formed in 1972, the district now serves the educational needs of approximately 16,000 students in 21 educational facilities.
Voters have approved several referenda proposals in the past two decades, including approval by more than a 67% margin in a $142.3 million referendum in March, 2002.
On March 14, 2017, voters passed a bond that supported an Educational Facilities Master Plan to reinvest in our neighborhood schools and community.
