POSITION SUMMARY:
The Production Assembler is responsible for performing all tasks involved in the production of aluminum trailers. This includes measuring, cutting, and drilling of aluminum, plywood, and skins. All Production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of Production. Position offers job training. Training may include shop print reading, light assembly, and aluminum welding. Job requirements are close to residential and commercial carpentry and construction trade type of work and require some mechanical aptitude, good hand-eye coordination, while using diverse types of shop equipment and cordless power hand tools.
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assembles different facets of a trailer, including but not limited to interior trim, fenders, rough or finished wiring, and framing, following the work order. Balances productivity with quality and safety.
Reads and follows blueprints and work orders, ensuring a quality product that meets customer demands; performs work as assigned by the line supervisor.
Obtains raw materials from Material Handlers. Cut material in accordance with specifications on the cut list.
Notifies supervisor of any mechanical or material issues, including but not limited to defects in material, damage to the trailer, and deviations from work order.
Ensures that the finished product meets quality expectations. Strives for the highest level of quality and understands the need for continuous improvement; supports the concept of “good enough is never good enough.”
Maintains a clean and safe work area; works to reduce scrap, returns unused materials to the proper area, and disposes of waste properly.
Follows all safety procedures, wears protective equipment (PPE), and reports any accidents or near misses to the supervisor immediately.
Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Working individually or with a crew to provide lawn care services to all properties on assigned route. Using hand and powered equipment, apply fertilizer, insecticides, fungicides, and herbicides for pest and weed control in lawn and ornamentals.
Unload and load equipment at each property, remove loose trash and debris from landscape area prior to servicing area.
Comply with all state and federal regulations, and company policies, procedures, and guidelines including local ordinances. Keep scheduled appointments with customers, as applicable.
Interact and ask questions of clients if they are present when the job is completed, to determine client concerns and existing conditions. Sell additional services to existing and prospective clients.
Perform thorough inspection and evaluation of client properties.
Wage Range: $20.00-$22.00 per hour. Up to $27/hour for experienced technicians. Starting wage is determined based on relevant experience. This is a hourly, non-exempt position.

Position Responsibilities
Seed Packing functions may include:
You will pack seed into both commercial and consumer sizes using various hand or mechanical tools available. Being comfortable working in a repetitive process environment and being able to follow detailed instructions are essential. Basic computer skills are required. Familiarity with converting ounces/pounds to grams is also necessary. Tasks include assembling kits and products, as well as processing bulk seed orders for commercial purposes, weighing between 50 and 70 pounds.
Shipping and Warehouse functions may include:
You will learn to perform various tasks in the Shipping and Warehouse departments. These tasks include locating incoming materials in different stockrooms, using inventory systems to find items, reorganizing materials, shrink-wrapping, and labeling. You may also need to assist the receiver with sampling, labeling, or receiving; support cycle counters by locating and weighing items. Additionally, you should report any issues or shortages to your supervisor or lead, support daily order shipments by gathering, checking, packing, shipping, stocking, and taking on other duties as needed. You will use handheld devices for accurate inventory picking and tracking, and prepare inventory for the shipping department.
You will have the desire to maintain a balanced work environment by working efficiently and accurately while keeping the workspace clean and safe.
