We are looking for an experienced and motivated veterinary technician to join our pawsome team at Jubilee Pet Hospital in Daphne, AL. We are open Monday-Friday from 8 am to 5:30 pm. This two doctor practice is fast paced and continuously growing. We offer medical, dental, and vision insurance. Responsibilities
* Obtain and record patient histories
* Communicate with pet owners on procedures, products, and recommended preventative healthcare
* Dispense and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians
* Collect blood, fecal, and urine samples
* Administer and monitor anesthesia under the direction of the veterinarian
* Prep patients, instruments, and equipment for surgery
* Perform routine dental cleanings
* Take radiographs
* Clean and sterilize equipment, instruments, and materials
* IV catheter placement
* Assist the veterinarian in various procedures
* Input charges into computer software system
* Work well in a group setting
* Ability to communicate and handle high-stress situations while maintaining a professional manner
* Use safe restraining techniques on patients

In this role, you will:
Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery during surgical and dental procedures
Maintain detailed and accurate medical records to support excellent patient care
Support efficient exam room workflow, including outpatient care, patient handling, and appointment preparation
Communicate confidently with clients by checking in appointments, reviewing treatment plans, providing discharge instructions, and answering questions with empathy and clarity
Anticipate the needs of your team to help maintain an efficient schedule while upholding the highest standards of patient care

Schedule:
