REPORTS TO: Hospital Manager POSITION OVERVIEW: As a Registered Veterinary Technician (LVT) at EVCC - Mishawaka, you will: Deliver foundational patient care through triage, vital signs, and basic animal husbandry. Support hospital operations with client communication, check-in/out, admissions, and discharge tasks. Assist Level 2 and 3 technicians while learning hospital systems, protocols, and workflow. Batching Technicians regularly work twelve-hour shifts on a biweekly rotation - 3-4 days a week with every other weekend off. Weekends and overtime are required. Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for set-up, operating and monitoring ingredient levels according to recipe and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and GMPs. Responsible for setting up and staging in preparation for changeovers according to the production schedule. Troubleshoot basic production system applications as needed. Review and follow production schedule throughout shift. Monitor product levels for extruders and ensure product is running according to job specifications. Maintain batching room cleanliness according to sanitation signoffs throughout work shift. Operate forklift to stage ingredients according to production schedule. All other duties as assigned.
