In this role, you will:
Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication.
Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
This position is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who are passionate about exceptional patient and client care, and ready to work at the top of their license in a supportive, team-focused environment.
This is a full-time position, with availability needed Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturdays.

Compensation: $23-28 per hour, for each hour worked*

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

Qualifications

Prepare patients for surgery and monitor vital signs of the patient during surgery.
Obtain blood, stool, and other samples; perform in-hospital laboratory testing and prepare specimens for outside laboratories.
Take, develop, and maintain radiographs following proper safety procedures.
Provide basic animal handling and restrain animals during exams.
Administer and monitor medications, anesthesia, vaccines, and treatments at the discretion of the veterinarian.
Clean and straighten exam rooms, treatment, and lab areas; restock exam rooms with supplies. Assist other team members to keep the public areas of the practice clean; clean and maintain all medical equipment.
Demonstrate warmth, courtesy and professionalism in all interactions with clients; exercise compassion and care in all interactions with patients.

Essential Responsibilities

Obtain blood, stool, and other samples; perform in-hospital laboratory testing and prepare specimens for outside laboratories.
Take, develop, and maintain radiographs following proper safety procedures.

Experienced and Licensed Techs expectations include patient care, client education, surgical monitoring, dental procedures, performing a variety of laboratory functions, mentoring new team members, etc.

Job Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians during exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures

Educate clients on care plans and at-home support
