Chat Sports is expanding prior to the 2025 football season, and we're seeking a dynamic, resourceful, and tech-savvy Junior Video Producer for several of our 26 team-focused NFL shows on YouTube. Chat Sports launched on YouTube in 2019 with 3 shows and has grown to 40 shows over the last 6 years. This role will work from our brand new 11,000 sq ft. downtown Dallas HQ that now has 16 production studios.

As a Junior Video Producer you will:
- Spearhead the production desk for both live and on-demand video programming on YouTube, collaborating closely with your show host
- Produce short-form videos from our shows to post on social media - bonus points if you know how to use CapCut, iMovie or equivalent
- Engage in the full production lifecycle, from pre-production tasks like graphics creation and fact-checking, to live production dynamics and post-production efforts, including copywriting and distribution
- Contribute creatively, offering fresh ideas and insights to enhance the show's programming, with a sharp eye for trending topics and audience preferences
- Engage with your host and audience on-air in an informative and entertaining way

Requirements:
- A background of 1-2 years in live production or video journalism, with consideration given to recent graduates who possess applicable experience or skills

Role Overview:

In this internship role, you will gain hands-on experience in live video production and post-production editing while supporting Globe Life's broadcast operations and content creation initiatives. This internship provides exposure to professional studio environments, live event production, and video editing workflows. The intern will work closely with the production team and video department to execute live presentations, assist with broadcast operations, and create compelling video content using industry-standard equipment and software.
This is an on-site position located in McKinney, TX.
What You Will Do:
Live Production Support
Assist with setup and operation of broadcast equipment for live presentations in Globe Life studios and conference center
Support programming and operation of broadcast switchers, soundboards, lighting consoles, teleprompters, and broadcast cameras under supervision
Run presentation graphics during live events and recordings
Help with cable management, equipment setup, and basic maintenance tasks
Support audio/video signal routing and distribution for multiple sources
Learn and assist with lighting setup and operation for studio productions
Video Editing and Post-Production
Edit video content using Adobe Premiere for internal announcements, promotional videos, and training materials
Assist with importing media, organizing raw footage, and distribution to video hosting platforms
Support video shorts and formatting for multiple distribution platforms
Help maintain video library and asset organization
Assist with basic audio editing and synchronization
General Support
Collaborate with team members and internal clients on project requirements
Maintain project status updates and documentation
Assist with equipment inventory and basic troubleshooting
Support video shoots and field production when needed
What You Can Bring:
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree program in Broadcast, Telecommunications, Video Production, Media Arts, or related field
Rising junior or senior preferred
Previous internship or coursework experience in video production preferred
Portfolio or demo reel showcasing video editing and/or production work preferred
Experience with live video production or broadcast operations a plus
Basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere (required)
Fundamental understanding of video production principles and workflows
Basic knowledge of audio/video equipment and signal flow
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures

What you will do

What you will bring
2+ years of experience in videography, video production, and editing.

Must be organized and detail-oriented with exceptional time management and multi-tasking abilities.
Strong sense of visual storytelling, with the ability to produce engaging, high-quality content.
