    Under the direction of the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor, the Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for printing and shipping orders and receiving incoming goods. As well, this position receives returned goods. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will also be responsible for all verification of production counts and assisting with annual inventory. They will also lead the monitoring of inventory. This will be achieved by maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EMS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions and required documentation. Essential Functions: Print orders several times a day from the ERP system. Pick, pack, and ship out orders using approved appropriate carriers. Assure all expedited shipments (1 day, 2 day) shipments are made on time, and if problems CSR is notified. Assure all customer-required labeling, etc., is met on shipments being made to customers. Assure all the required documentation is completed for all outgoing shipments Complete all functions required for receiving incoming product within 24 hours. Process RGAs. Perform inventory transactions on the ERP system. Ship sample orders. Create manual shipments, pack, and ship as instructed. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts of the supplies used on the manufacturing floor Assure all incoming bag and cartons are put into appropriate storage locations Other Functions Back up other shipping clerks as needed Attend and successfully complete forklift training. Perform routine housekeeping and keep work areas in order. Perform inventory cycle counts as requested. Assist in bi-annual physical inventory duties. Perform all duties assigned for Health and Safety Inspections. Review Negative and Bin reports, investigate and fix inventory problems. Assist QA in identifying and locating non-conforming packaging supplies Perform other tasks as assigned Move product/supplies as needed for QA and Packaging Dept Key Competencies Ability to use ERP system and shipping systems to properly make shipments, including international shipments Ability to do all the functions involved in receiving product, including the use of the ERP system to properly receive and reverse receipt of incoming goods. Ability to use the ERP system to do appropriate inventory transactions. Ability to properly fill out non-conformance tickets as needed. Ability to process RGAs Ability to communicate with our carriers to ensure our shipments get to our customers as required. Required Personal Protective Equipment. Ear, eye & foot protection. The department manager/supervisor will cover additional PPE as required on department-specific work instructions. All employees entering the manufacturing area and other identified locations must wear the designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Wearing your Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a condition of employment. Responsible for the cycle count program, including entering daily and monthly cycle counts Responsible for the organization of the warehouse and making sure FIFO is in place by using date codes Very detail-oriented with numbers and basic math skills to assure production counts are accurate Able to work with little daily supervisor instruction. (Self-directed worker) Qualifications (skills, knowledge, experience) High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. Basic math skills. Computer skills preferred.
