They will lead developing accurate demand forecasts based on statistical modeling, sales and product management input, and market analysis. This position designs and executes strategies and plans to meet company's short-term and long-term supply chain planning objectives. It will also lead the Product and Demand Review sessions of the Sales and Operations Planning Process (S&OP) and will be a key contributor to improving customer experience through superior delivery while minimizing costs. This position will be supporting the Watts Applied Solution platform. The right candidate will be a strong influencer and demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively across all functions. This position will report to the SIOP leader in Operations. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Develop sales forecast with Business, Product Line and Marketing leaders Lead the Demand portion of the S&OP process to align all stakeholders on next 12-18 months plans Use and maintain the Statistical and Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool. Enter and modify data and ensure the correctness of the ERP and planning systems, product hierarchy, monitor trends in forecast error, Identify relevant market-related data and competitive intelligence. Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results. Define and implement metrics to measure planning performance Maintain accuracy of planning data in ERP system Implement and improve planning processes and systems Improve the customer experience Manage multiple complex projects Routinely interact with internal and external customers Align Demand Plan processes to improve forecast accuracy Interact with Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Customer Service, and Sales to ensure priorities are set and aligned to meet customer on-time deliveries MIMIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS : At least 3+ years of experience in supply chain demand planning and continuous improvement initiatives with relevant software applications. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities Lead meetings to review setup or testing needs for products. Lead NPD development testing of refrigeration products, based on guidance provided by integration team, and R&D special projects. Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and other documentation to setup equipment for testing. Build prototype heating products and perform testing and records results. Communicate with customers, representatives or service technicians via telephone concerning product and service issues. Calibrates and repairs performance issues. Maintain certification and maintenance of equipment with third parties. Support in plant customer service, sales, tours etc. Visit customers to provide on-site troubleshooting of product or service problems as needed Assist Final Assembly area with problems occurring during assembly. Assume responsibility for other projects and duties as assigned by R&D Integration Manager or Company management. Scope of Position The Regional Sales Manager, for EasyWater / Watts Commercial Water Quality, will be responsible for developing and executing aggressive growth strategies and comprehensive sales plans to further penetrate the Water Treatment market with emphasis on the domestic water, heating water, chilled water, cooling tower water and commercial pool applications. This position will manage and direct all daily and long-range sales activities for the Region. Activities will include sales management of sales partners as well as individual sales calls, customer relationships, new business development, proposal development and quotations, sales projections, pricing strategies, contract development and management, and maintaining the opportunity funnel. The Sales manager will be responsible to deliver the AOP (Annual Operating Plan) for the region and to make solid short term and long-term business decisions. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities Manages and directs all daily and long-range activities of the region to include sales management, customer relations, inventory control, proposal development and quotations, pricing strategies, and managing channel conflict.
