We're looking for a Full-Stack Developer to help lead our Magento 2 implementation across all our eCommerce properties. You'll be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining Magento 2 stores, as well as handling data migration, third-party integrations, and UI enhancements. Experience with the Hyvä theme is a strong bonus, but not required.
This is a strategic, hands-on role where you'll shape the future of our eCommerce infrastructure alongside a talented, fast-moving team. The ideal candidate is confident taking a design from concept through to fully functional implementation, both visually and technically.
Responsibilities
Lead the migration of multiple Magento 1 websites to Magento 2, including data mapping and custom feature reimplementation.
Develop custom modules, themes, and integrations within the Magento 2 framework.
Implement responsive and performant frontend experiences; familiarity with Hyvä is a plus.
Write clean, modular, secure, and testable code for both backend and frontend.
Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and ERP/CRM tools.
Ensure scalability, performance, and security of all Magento 2 instances.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and efficiently.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in full-stack web development.
Strong hands-on experience with Magento 2 (theming, module development, configuration, admin customization)
Solid backend skills in PHP and MySQL, and frontend skills in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SASS.
Understanding of Magento's declarative schema, GraphQL, and service contracts.
Comfortable with Git, composer-based workflows, and deployment pipelines.
Bonus Points For
Experience working with the Hyvä theme or similar performance-optimized Magento frontends.
Familiarity with headless Magento or GraphQL-based architecture.
Experience with caching (Redis, Varnish) or containerization (Docker).
Previous work on multi-site Magento installations.
