This Opportunity Leverage your experience to help transit agencies and local governments move Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) projects from the planning stage into the real world. Be an interdisciplinary leader, managing project teams that bring together financial analysts, urban designers, architects, legal compliance professionals, land use planners, and grant funding experts to bring client opportunities to market, execute joint development agreements and real estate transactions, and maximize their financial returns.

Take responsibility for identifying and developing business opportunities across North America, particularly those of significant scale. Coordinate business development efforts with specialists in urban design, planning, cost estimation, economics and finance, organization management, and public-private partnerships governance to identify opportunities, build client relationships, and deliver comprehensive services to clients.
Take a leadership role in WSP's Real Estate Economics and Finance Advisory Group, which assists clients with maximizing the value of their land, buildings, properties, and parking lots. This frequently involves working with transit agencies, municipalities, and property owners on making the most out of transit-oriented development opportunities by advising them on how to make changes to zoning and land use policies, joint development partnership structures, and transportation services in order positively affect the potential value of future projects and find new sources of revenue.
Your Impact
* Provide proactive and strategic process and people leadership for the design, implementation, and administration of projects concerning real estate transactions with a public-sector principal in the Transit-Oriented Development and Real Estate Finance discipline, including senior leadership for proposals and project work scopes, pricing, budget, and performance metrics.
* Guide the development and execution of real estate development strategies that align with agency objectives and community interests. Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, and transaction summaries to clients' organizational management, elected officials, and/or governing boards.
* Advise clients on comparative pros and cons of leveraging surplus land sales, ground leases, joint development vehicles, public-private partnerships, build-to-suit, and leasing space, based on their project goals, current market conditions, and local site and legal characteristics.
* Model exemplary "trusted advisor" service and provide future-focused solutions to clients. Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, coordinating with legal, financial, and technical teams as required. Ensure profitable management and successful completion of individual projects within the assigned area.
* Develop and implement long-term strategies for growth and pipeline advancement in Advisory Services for WSP within designated areas, emphasizing land value opportunities across all sectors, including transportation, buildings, energy, water, environment, and power.
* Leverage expertise and relationships to market knowledge and capabilities and development new clients and projects.
* Assist in preparing annual updates to tactical business action plans.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
* Advanced proficiency and proven experience in the areas of due diligence, procurement strategy, alternative delivery methods, and/or transaction structure.
* 10+ years of relevant experience at a transportation agency or other municipal government entity, including acting as principal on real estate transactions.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.

As a Senior Electrical Estimator at Stantec, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating large electrical cost estimates. You will collaborate with a dynamic team of cost estimators, schedulers, and construction engineers in Stantec's construction engineering group. You will be responsible for coordinating teams of discipline estimators, and the position will frequently require the direct estimating of at least one other project discipline. Your Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the timely and complete development of electrical cost estimates.

Your Capabilities and Credentials
* A Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive electrical estimating experience working with contract values more than $1 Million.
* Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, materials, and processes.
* Extensive technical knowledge of electrical cost/estimating, engineering design, and construction practice and applicable standards and procedures.
* Knowledge in one or more of the following estimating disciplines: High Voltage, Solar, instrumentation, Process Plants, AACE guidelines. National Electrical Code.

Provide support to Roadside Assistance operations when additional staffing is required, of if litter patrol can provide quicker response to ensure safety of motorists.
Provide roadside assistance services including tire changes, battery jumps, providing fuel, adding fluids, securing cargo etc.
Respond to crashes and incidents by assisting law enforcement, fire, EMS, and towing partners. Set up emergency traffic control (cones, flares, RA vehicle positioning) and clear hazards from travel lanes.

Patrol toll plazas and maintenance facilities to ensure security and report issues (fires, water leaks, etc.).

* Lead and/or advise on technical aspects of mining and mining infrastructure projects, business development, and proposal activities (contribution of high-quality technical content expected during all stages).

Qualifications for Internal Candidates- Experience and capability in the following areas are strongly desired:
* A strong background in mine water management, mine closure, and feasibility studies for the mining industry is essential.
* Planning, designing, and managing the design and construction of surface water infrastructure including proven experience integrating civil and geotechnical engineering concepts. This may include mine site planning/grading design, site climate and hydrologic assessments, design of site stormwater conveyance infrastructure (channels, ponds, and culverts), mine site water balance analysis, and dam breach analyses.
* State and Federal regulations pertaining to water management.
* Project management includes developing detailed budgets, determining project scope, establishing schedules, processing appropriate paperwork, and interacting with clients.

Your Impact
* Will work under the supervision and mentorship of a Senior Environmental Scientist or Engineer.
* Will travel to project sites primarily in the greater Cheyenne, WY area. Roughly 95% of work is anticipated to be performed in the field.
* Operate and maintain various remediation systems (groundwater and soil) throughout Wyoming and northern Colorado. Systems include pump and treat, air sparging and soil vapor extraction. Duties include troubleshooting, routine and non-routine operations and maintenance (e.g., electric motors, mechanical pumps, electrical power supply systems, etc.), field testing and data recording.
* Assists in site characterization and monitoring field efforts including collecting soil, groundwater and air samples.
* Perform accurate and appropriate data gathering and create clearly written and understandable daily field reports in support of performed field activities.
* Work with outside vendors and subcontractors, with the support of the internal team, to obtain required system spare parts, chemicals, sampling kits, etc.
* Be a proactive thinker and problem solver. Thinking ahead of maintenance required or fixing system issues before they have a bigger performance impact. Schedule tasks spread over numerous sites to maintain reliable systems to meet compliance requirements.
Who You Are
Basic/Required Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
