**Your Impact**
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Support the Document Control Manager and Document Control Team to maintain a document management system for contract documents and project documents.
+ Work with the Document Control Manager and Document Control Team to ensure policies and procedures are being followed.
+ Implement an efficient work-flow process, monitor daily activity, and implement modifications.
+ Work within the existing Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
+ Knowledge of document management process, procedures, and systems.
+ Provide Document Management support to the entire project team.
+ Retrieve files, Upload / Download files, Manage Document Naming Convention, numbering, assigning, and distribution.
+ Process Incoming/Outgoing documentation.
+ Ensure that electronic record files as required are maintained in good order to comply with contractual requirements.
+ Familiar with the Submittal and RFI Packages Procedure and Processes.
+ Work with project department leads to ensure timely processing of documentation.
+ May occasionally be required to manage day-to-day operations of the Document Control Team.

+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
+ 1-3 years of project experience in a Document Control or similar role, working in the construction industry.

Senior Vice President, Structural Engineer

**This Opportunity** WSP is currently initiating a search for a **Senior Vice President, Bridge Inspection** for our **Virginia Bridge Inspection Group.** You can be based at our **Virginia Beach, VA office** . You will assist the Mid-Atlantic District's bridge inspection TEC Lead on a full-time basis with business development and winning bridge inspection and repair work for VDOT and other transportation agencies.
You will utilize your education, licensure, and relevant work experience to perform independent and complete evaluation of the condition, function and load carrying capacity of structures and their individual components. These evaluations may form the basis of recommendations to facility owners for repair, rehabilitation, or replacement.
**Your Impact**
+ Plan, schedule, and perform VDOT bridge inspections in accordance with the requirements of specific Bridge Owners, but in all cases, in compliance with the National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and the AASHTO Manual for Condition Evaluation of Bridges.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a mission-driven and experienced Senior Architect / Project Manager to lead the design, development, and execution of large-scale military facility projects. WSP is currently looking to fill an hourly, project-based position. This temporary
archaeological field technician (heritage resource specialist) position will work with senior
archaeologists, field supervisors, architectural historians, and other environmental staff to
expand existing and new client relationships and contribute to WSP's capacity and
reputation in the environmental and engineering marketplace. Compensation will be
commensurate with credentials and experience. 0- 2 years of field experience is
preferred. Positions are temporary, with a maximum duration of 3 months.
The successful candidate will work with environmental and heritage/cultural resources
specialists throughout the Mid Atlantic. Current and upcoming archaeological project
contributions are needed in Virginia. This position is expected to take an active role in
conducting fieldwork and supporting the collection and preparation of digital data for
reporting findings. The successful candidate will have experience with field survey,
including the excavation of shovel test pits, and the logging of soils and collection and
logging of artifacts. Experience in the Eastern US is preferred but not required.

The role of a Project Engineer with our Water Team is a dynamic position well suited to an individual who is good at managing multiple tasks and deadlines and working with multi-disciplinary teams. The candidate may be working independently on smaller projects or providing support to a team of professionals on larger projects. The candidate should be able to evaluate, select, specify, and engineer systems or products for a project, and will perform a variety of tasks which may include calculations, design sketches and concepts, report preparation and field work. Projects assigned may be broad, varied and diverse in scope. Our group is involved in a wide range of water infrastructure projects, including sewer and water main of both large and small diameter systems, pump stations, and treatment facilities.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Manages project technical tasks including completing design work, calculations, writing specifications and technical reports on a wide range of civil infrastructure projects generally involving sanitary & storm sewer, water main design, pump stations, wastewater resource recovery facilities, water treatment facilities, and stormwater management/drainage plans.
- Coordinates design and report deliverable packages for submission to clients and/or approval authorities.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and attend meetings with the client, team members and sub-consultants.
- Understands and implements industry standards and manuals as well as client and regulatory agencies standards and requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of engineering project documents, client presentations, client contact and communication pertaining to specific project deliverables.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure compatibility with the design intent.
- Prepare engineering documents and contract documents by developing construction specifications, plans and schedules.
- Evaluates, selects, specifies, and engineers process mechanical systems or products for a project.
- Conducts quality assurance and quality control on own projects.
- Assist in the review of shop drawings and submittals, responds to request for information, prepares site observation reports, and performs other contract administration tasks.
- Participate in basic cost estimating under the direction of technical leaders to support engineering projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned by senior engineering staff.

Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Demonstrated efficient task management and technical execution of assigned tasks on multiple concurrent projects.
- Broad, general understanding of many relevant areas of municipal engineering, hydraulics, and process mechanical systems design with respect to materials as well as industry standards.
- General understanding of various construction means and methods and their disturbance impacts on the project site.
- Requisite knowledge, interpretation, and application of design and construction codes.
- Strong understanding of all phases of project document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications.
- Proficient with of Microsoft Office Suite. Basic understanding of Revit is a plus.
- Developing cooperative skills in working efficiently within a team.
- Must have good driving record, and valid driver's license.

Education and Experience
- Education: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
