    This Opportunity We are seeking a global-minded and detail-oriented Senior Manager to lead global compensation project management and delivery within our 70,000-employee engineering and consulting organization. This role is pivotal in driving consistency, transparency, and operational excellence across our compensation programs worldwide. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in compensation, strong project management skills, and a collaborative mindset to partner across HR, business leadership, and regional stakeholders. The position can sit out of any of our WSP US offices out of the east coast. Your Impact Global Direct Compensation Project Management * Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of global compensation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business strategy and compliance requirements. * Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and stakeholder communications for key compensation programs and process improvements. * Monitor interdependencies across countries and regions to identify risks, opportunities, and impacts on broader business outcomes. * Partner with HRIS, Total Rewards, and regional HR teams to ensure timely and accurate data flows, system readiness, and stakeholder enablement. * Analyze outcomes, identify trends, and prepare executive-level reporting and insights. Compensation Survey Efforts * Oversee global compensation survey participation and completion, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and timelines. * Work with regional teams to coordinate survey efforts to ensure consistency in data collection and benchmarking across all regions. Global Merit Cycle Management and Automation * Manage and automate global merit processes, including budget allocation, reporting, and workflow optimization. * Ensure timely and accurate execution of merit cycles on a global basis, with clear communication and documentation for all stakeholders. Compensation Analytics * Monitor compensation structure development and updates, including compa-ratio analytics and the implementation of parameters to maintain equity and compliance. * Provide ongoing analysis and recommendations to support competitive and fair pay practices. Oversight of Regional Activities and Reporting * Maintain oversight of compensation activities across all regions, ensuring adherence to global standards and timely reporting. * Track and document how local compensation practices and regulatory changes affect global programs and vice versa. Global Alignment of Communication and Employee Experience * Ensure consistent and transparent communication of compensation programs and changes across all geographies. * Champion a globally aligned employee experience, partnering with HR and communications teams to deliver clear, accessible messaging. Process Governance & Global Coordination * Maintain a global calendar of compensation processes and milestones, ensuring visibility and coordination across geographies. * Serve as a central point of contact for compensation-related project updates, escalations, and cross-functional alignment. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration * Build strong relationships with the Total Rewards community on a global scale, HR Business Partners and/or Leaders, as well as Legal and Finance, when required, to ensure compensation projects are well-integrated and supported. * Facilitate global working groups or steering committees as needed to drive consensus and decision-making. * Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and regional compensation leads. * Collaborate and provide support and expertise during M&A activities Who You Are Required Qualifications * 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation, with at least 2 years in a global or regional project management role. * Bachelor's degree required * Proven success managing complex, multi-country compensation initiatives in a matrixed organization. * Strong understanding of compensation principles, market practices, and regulatory environments across key global regions. * Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills. * Proficiency in project management tools and HR systems (e.g., Oracle, Workday, SuccessFactors, or similar). Preferred Qualifications * Advanced degree or CCP certification preferred.
