Under the direction of the physician, assists in operations; may help set up operating room, prepare and transport patients for surgery, pass instruments and other supplies to surgeons and surgeon's assistants, wound closure, hold retractors, cut sutures, and help count sponges, needles, supplies, and instruments. Orientation is Monday through Friday 0700-1530 for approximately 6 weeks. Candidate will have the option of working 5-8hr shifts (1500-2330), 4-10hr shifts (1300- 2330) or 3-12hr shifts (1100-2330). One weekly call shifts every 8 days and then one weekend every 8th weekend (rotating bases).
