Most Interesting Findings

How We Conducted This Research
Utilizing Google Trends data, we analyzed egg preparation preferences across all 50 states. We examined eight common cooking methods, all of which are delicious in their own right. By measuring search interest, we identified which egg styles each state favors disproportionately.
For instance, although New Jersey residents enjoy eggs in various styles, the search interest for “Sunny Side Up” significantly exceeds that of other preparations, marking it as the state’s top choice.
Our data covers a full year of egg-related searches, allowing each state ample opportunity to explore recipes and preparation techniques.
