Summary: This position is responsible for safely driving the 18-wheel mobile health and/or the 44 ft. RV mobile unit as assigned and registration on board the units. Primary responsibilities include communication with management and clinical team during their routes, precepting new driver in conjunction with other WOW drivers with clear documentation throughout the orientation period to leadership, providing mentoring to new driver, as necessary, and collaborating and interacting with others in a positive and effective manner. The Lead Driver will also be responsible for ensuring proper repairs and maintenance for all vehicles as assigned. The position requires onsite electronic medical record registration, and completion of mandatory training. Responsible for patient registration, including data entry of patient information and insurance verification, correction, or resolution. Other duties include work directly with vendors to receive quotes on repairs and maintenance. The Lead Driver will also be responsible for maintain appropriate license and registration for their assigned mobile units. Responsibilities And Duties: 30% Drives/parks semi-truck safely to Clinic sites, following accident policy immediately in case of an accident. 5% Sets up and tears down mobile units at each site. 15% Performs maintenance on tractor and trailer or RV when necessary. 20% Perform registration duties via CareConnect at assigned sites. Qualifications - Education, Experience, and Skills High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required with 7- 10 years of industry experience; OR Associate's degree and 4-6 years of experience Demonstrated experience with residential wiring and services, commercial wiring, I. Experience with PLC's and AC/DC motors a bonus Strong technology skills including usage of Microsoft Office, Email, AutoCAD, and Blackboard learning management system preferred. OSHA 30 certified required, OSHA 500 certified a bonus. Ability to read, understand, and use technical drawings and blueprints. Ability to use and instruct using industry required tools and equipment. Prior experience educating students/apprentices preferred, not required Caring attitude toward students and willingness to extend self to help students succeed. Flexibility in dealing with others and ability to work as a team member Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Strong organizational, record-keeping, and interpersonal skills.
