Job Summary: As a Superintendent, you will oversee construction activities, ensuring project schedules, labor costs, and subcontractor coordination are effectively managed. We are currently seeking a Superintendent with expertise in constructing Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants, with additional experience in heavy concrete forming of tanks and structures being a valuable asset. The ideal candidate will be capable of leading projects ranging from $5M to $30M, overseeing teams of 10-20 employees as well as multiple subcontractors. Compensation and benefits will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the project manager to ensure projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and with a focus on safety and quality. Coordinate subcontractors to ensure project schedule adherence and maintain high-quality work. Possess a deep understanding of project information, identifying and addressing obstacles while presenting effective solutions. Complete necessary documentation, such as time sheets, daily reports, equipment reports, toolbox talks, and three-week plans. Collaborate with owners and engineers throughout project execution. Review submittals, plans, and specifications. Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong organizational and communication skills. Minimum of 5 years of superintendent experience in water/wastewater projects. Self-perform experience in concrete work is highly advantageous. This is accomplished primarily through calling leads generated through marketing activities, cold calling prospects, club tours and contests. Sales reps are expected to meet challenging monthly quotas and must be productive within 30 days of starting. Great sales reps must be able to quickly identify potential members needs and use solution-selling techniques to close the sale. They must be able to present the customer a solution to their specific needs using the products and services offered by the club. This is a competitive sales position, with the clear objective of always meeting quota and constant improvement. Cooperation in a team environment is also essential. Responsibilities: The following are the specific performance objectives for the position. In assessing competency and fit, all candidates will be benchmarked against these standards. Achieve Quota: Consistently meet or exceed a quota of 40 new club memberships per month within 60-days. While this goal will vary month to month, on average a good sales rep will generate 40 new memberships each month. Monthly quotas should be adjusted seasonally January, February and March might be 40-50 sales while other months may be 30-40. (Competencies: competitiveness, work-ethic, motivation) Call all Leads Within Two Days and Convert 30% into Appointments: Reps must call back each assigned lead within 48 hours, quickly engage the potential customer by understanding their reasons for wanting to join a club, and use a variety of persuasive and selling techniques to convert 30% of these calls into a scheduled tour of the facilities. (cold calling, verbal communications, adaptability, listening, selling, rapport building, persuasiveness) Effectively Plan Each Sales Day: Great reps will spend 45-minutes to an hour each day preparing and planning for their next day. They will identify who they will meet, calls they will make, goals and the expected outcomes of their efforts. Great reps will also quickly review their approach for each scheduled club tour and customize their approach based on the information they collected from the person on the phone. (organizing, planning, diligence, ability to summarize quickly, doesnt over-prep) Conduct Effective Club Tours: Within two weeks, know the core products offered by the club and be in a position to quickly (10-15 minutes) understand a typical potential members needs. Present the clubs product line as a solution to the customers needs appealing to their emotions and preferred buying methodology. Within 30-days, great reps will consistently conduct five club tours each day and maintain an overall close ratio greater than 50%. (customer needs analysis, analytical skills, solution selling, insight, intelligence, develop connections, ability to learn and apply skills) Become Product Expert: Proactively learn all aspects of the clubs programs and services during the first seven days. Develop examples of all key benefits by product offering. Personally participate in all aspects of the clubs offerings and develop a series of techniques to present these products as solutions to specific customer needs. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Are determined by the center and may include, but are not limited to the following: * Must demonstrate qualities of being a self-starter and be able to make independent decisions when necessary. * Must be able to manage the dietary department in the absence of the dietary manager when necessary and act as the supervisor when the manager or assistant manager is not available. * Has a thorough understanding of all regulations (local, state, and federal) which affect dietary including, but not limited to, patient care, sanitation, labor, fire, safety, and disaster and complies with these regulations. * Assists in maintaining the dietary department in a safe, secure, and sanitary manner and reports any problems to the Dietary Manager. * Uses good judgment in conserving supplies, preventing food waste, and conserving utilities. Reports any food, supply, and equipment needs or concerns to the Dietary Manager. * Assists in receiving and storing food and supplies to prevent waste and assure quality products. Dates, labels, and stores items properly. Uses proper food handling techniques. * Reviews menus, therapeutic menus, recipes, and production sheets before preparing meals and prepares and serves all diets properly, accurately, and attractively as planned using proper portions and special diet items. * Follows standardized recipes and special diet orders, preparing sufficient quantities to meet all service requirements. * Responsible for testing and tasting foods for proper appearance, flavor, aroma, and temperature and making adjustments if needed. * Responsible for timing of preparation of meals/snacks to meet time schedule for service for all customers and ensures that all meals/snacks are served as scheduled. * Portions foods on plate during tray service according to standards. Checks trays for accuracy of diets, preferences, and quality before they are delivered. Serves on tray line and delivers carts to floors as needed. * Follows menus provided; if menu substitutions are necessary, records these substitutions in designated place. * Must show initiative in choosing garnishes, seasonings according to patient/resident preferences, the use of leftovers, and in food presentation and service. * Attends in-service and other necessary training. * Keeps work area clean and uncluttered, and completes assigned cleaning duties. Responsible for the proper use, care, cleanliness, and sanitation of kitchen and equipment. * Communicates and cooperates with the staff, patients, and their families. * Processes new diet orders and diet changes when received from nursing service, and keeps tray cards updated in absence of Dietary Manager. * Adheres to the dress code for the department. * Performs other tasks as necessary and appropriate.
