The Submarine Systems Quality Assurance Specialist position will manage the reviews of material compliance to specifications and requirements, ensure chemistry and metallurgical properties meet specifications, develop welding processes and analyze the effectiveness, perform non-destructive testing of systems and components, provide inspection services for materials, critical component configurations, certification of special emphasis program work, perform contract oversight and perform quality analysis via multiple documented processes to evaluate the quality of the products we deliver to the Fleet.
