Ammeraal Beltech company history timeline

1957

Since 1957 Megadyne has grown from a small family company started in Mathi, Italy to an International Leader with a manufacturing and sales presence throughout Europe, Asia and the Americas.

1964

In 1964, the company expanded beyond Dutch borders, opening operations in Germany; more countries soon followed.

1980

The 1980’s were a turning point in the company’s development with the advent of polyurethane materials and the natural technical and engineering abilities of the Tadolini family.

1990

In 1990, the company became part of Gamma Holding, and it was Gamma that later acquired Verseidag AG and merged its belting subsidiary with Ammeraal to form Ammeraal Beltech.

2000

2000: Merger with Verseidag Beltech (incl.

2008

In 2008, AB acquired the Danish modular belting company uni-chains A/S.

2017

2017 was a big year for Megadyne acquisitions: SACIF is an Italian company specializing in belts and conveyor reworking, expanding Megadyne’s Specialty Belt capabilities.

2018

In December 2018, Ammeraal Beltech and Megadyne joined under single ownership and leadership to create a true global leader in belting: AMMEGA.
