This role focuses primarily on Control Systems related to large frame industrial gas turbines in simple cycle and/or combined cycle operation with Steam Turbines. Additionally, the engineer will provide customer training and support both remotely and on-site. The scope may expand to other control systems within the plant in the future. Responsibilities Work with applications, estimation, and sales groups to develop new business proposals. Design and review new design concepts and assist in developing new control systems. Maintain and modify existing control systems. Collaborate with design engineers, operations engineers, purchasers, sales & marketing, and other internal staff. Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors, project management, and other relevant authorities within cost and time-constrained environments. Understand and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards of the country where work is undertaken. Develop RFQs for purchasing equipment. Support manufacturing and inspect control systems, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs). Support Field Operations in performing on-site installation of control systems. Provide start-up commissioning, operations, and troubleshooting support for equipment failures, determine root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
