Participate in the initial installation & upkeep of equipment and piping label as required by plant policy.Develop personal skills through ongoing training both at the plant and through outside training classes.
Support the implementation and maintenance of an effective Preventative Maintenance program.
Make timely reporting & documentation of equipment breakdowns or mis-operation; provide troubleshooting to minimize downtime of plant equipment.
Record information required for Work Order closure time-spent on task, details on the work performed, additional work required and parts that were used.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age

Education & Training:
High school diploma or GED required.
Enrollment in, or eligibility for, an accredited electrical apprenticeship program.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Experience:
Prior field experience in electrical, tower, or construction work preferred but not required.
Familiarity with DC power systems, grounding, and battery banks a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
Willingness to learn and work at heights (up to 300+ feet when required).
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with field teams.
Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.
Comfortable working outdoors and traveling for extended periods.
Apprenticeship Program Overview

Job Description
The Journeyman-Electrical/Electrical Technician should be a outside linemen, inside wiremen, installer technician, electrician, or Master Electrician who has been engaged at the trade for at least five (5) years.
The Journeyman-Electrical/Electrical Technician will be responsible for performing journey-level electrical duties in the diagnosis, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment.

Rack moves, deployments, and decommissioning
Security gate repair

Spill Prevention kits for Generators, Substations, etc.
Heat trace annual testing and installation/retrofits

Nonscheduled, high priority work: Usually DC floor related issues related to cooling
Qualifications

To complete inspections and repair of electrical equipment including rides and other park facilities.
Responsibilities:
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Repair electrical and electronic equipment
Analyze equipment malfunctions to determine cause and corrective action
Access all areas of ride structures for inspections and maintenance
Install adequate temporary and/or permanent power for events and festivals throughout the season
Assist with various electrical needs for new construction and remodeling projects as assigned
Climb stairs or ladders to heights over 50ft while carrying tools and equipment and be able to use them
Maintain positive interaction with other employees and guests
Other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications:
State Journeyman's license preferred
Theme park ride experience a plus
Must be experienced in maintaining and troubleshooting equipment using PLC, and relays
Experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment
