A senior member of the Electro-Mechanical assemblers team. Assembles electrical components and circuits by reading and interpreting specifications, assembly drawings, outline drawings, and bills of materials. Wires components together, which may include cutting and bending conduit. Performs small precision assembly and assembly of large units as required. Fabricates or modifies parts or structures according to specifications, using drills and cutters. Completes documentation and maintains traceability records. Uses drawings and/or bill of materials to pull the correct parts for the assembly process. Performs assignments with minimal direction. Assists and guides lesser-skilled team members. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Works in a variety of manufacturing areas to include machining, winding, coil and other assembly, painting, testing, and shipping. Performs in-process quality checks to include electrical testing, close tolerance measuring, and documentation. Operates equipment and makes normal overhead crane lifts. Reads and interprets complex manufacturing drawings and process specs. Familiar with and has experience with ESD process and controls. Works in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining a clean work area. Arrives at the work station on time with minimal absences and adheres to all company policies. About the Role As an Assembly Technician, you'll be at the heart of assembling and producing our home battery systems. This position involves a variety of tasks that support the efficient operation of our warehouse, including receiving and organizing materials, kitting job kits, operating equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks, and performing physical labor. What You'll Do Detect issues in workflows and respond to safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing. Handle tools and fasten bolts mechanically within required cycle times-demonstrating speed and accuracy from day one and throughout your role. Work with materials in our product assembly process, following strict waste handling and disposal protocols. Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, bump caps, hearing protection, respirators, gloves, as needed and comply with all safety rules to keep our team secure. Receive and Store Inventory: Inspect your workstation and stock levels, record and track items using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), and complete tasks per work orders. Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse, including sorting, labeling, and storing materials efficiently. Inventory Management: Perform regular inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy and address discrepancies as needed. Forklift and Pallet Jack Operation: Safely operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks to move materials and equipment within the warehouse. Recycling: Manage recycling of materials in compliance with environmental regulations while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. What You'll Bring High school diploma or equivalent; warehouse or logistics experience preferred. Ability to lift up 50-70 lbs. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management System) is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
