An aerospace/manufacturing client is looking for an Assembler that will be responsible for setting up cavity inserts into mold bases, setting up of mold bases into machines, and run production per W.O. instructions.
LOCATION: Camarillo, CA 93010
POSITION: Assembler
PAY RATE: $18/hr.
CONTRACT: 12 months or longer
SHIFT: 2nd shift, M-F, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm - candidate should be available on weekends
4-6 weeks of training on first shift (7:00 am - 3:30 pm)
JOB SUMMARY:
Set up of cavity inserts into mold bases.
Set up mold bases into machine.
Run production per W.O. instructions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Verify and assemble correct mold components in preparation for setting up into a mold base and or machine.
Verify part dimensions upon startup of a work order
Follow correctly company and departmental procedures
Correctly filling out documentation as required
Operation and production of plastic and or rubber parts
QUALIFICATIONS:
1-3 years of manufacturing experience
Steel toe shoes/boots
JOB KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
Must be familiar with company and dept procedures.
Must be proficient in the setting up and running of production.
Must know and understand the controls and functions of molding press' and the auxiliary equipment used in molding operations.
Minimum 2 years of experience in production molding operations.
