Key Responsibilities:
Execute chemical reactions, workups, and purification processes using various chemical techniques under supervision of production management.

Prepare chemical solutions, monitor processes, and collect samples from production batches for quality testing.
Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and clean laboratory equipment according to company SSOPs and cleaning schedules.
Adjust processing equipment to optimize production efficiency and output.
Conduct facility sanitation in accordance with cGMP guidelines and company cleaning schedules.
Handle and dispose of hazardous waste following 6-CCR 1007-3 Part 262 protocols.
Maintain compliance with all personnel hygiene, handwashing, and PPE requirements to ensure personal and peer safety.
Participate in required training including HAZWOPER 40, facility contingency plans, emergency protocols, and biannual hazardous waste handling refreshers.
Required Qualifications:
Experience with lab equipment such as rotary evaporators, flow pumps, vacuum pumps, fluid heaters/chillers, cryo-freezers, incubators, and falling film evaporators.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license.
Minimum 2 years of chemical processing experience in a manufacturing or laboratory setting.
Strong documentation skills and ability to maintain accurate, detailed records.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Experience working in a cGMP environment.

Technician Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Sharpen abrasive grinding tools, using machines and hand tools
Load and adjust workpieces onto equipment or work tables, using hand tools
Record product and processing data on specified forms
Select files or other abrasives, according to materials, sizes and shapes of workpieces, amount of stock to be removed, finishes specified, and steps in finishing processes
Apply solutions and chemicals to equipment, objects, or parts, using hand tools

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Under general direction, this position is responsible for all aspects of scheduling, estimating, and performing on-site installation of signage and large format graphics. This includes a variety of flat panel substrates, post & panel projects, and application of pressure-sensitive vinyl's according to written instructions. This position must proofread signs and conduct quality assurance to ensure accurate fulfillment of projects. There is a significant degree of customer interaction in this position. Professional demeanor and appearance is required, along with a customer service focus.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Follow instructions to accurately install a variety of flat panel signage, post and panel, and full-color graphic images in various circumstances. Interior and Exterior.
2. Maintain an accurate, written schedule reflecting all installation commitments. Set and achieve project deadlines.
3. Consult with sales staff to provide accurate estimates of labor time and to set realistic deadlines.
4. Maintain strong lines of communication with sales staff and promptly answer messages/questions. Accurately relay project details to sales staff and customers.
5. Adhere to industry-standard safety practices. Operate all tools and equipment according to specified safety requirements.
6. Perform advance site visits, obtaining and relaying necessary information for accurate quoting and production of the product.
7. Assist with general sign production duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (ALL LEVELS)
Assemble electrical sub-assemblies and electrical components from engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
Perform electrical adjustments, torque fasteners to specification, and conduct fit checks
Use hand and power tools to build control panels, switchboards, and associated wiring

Compensation information

POSITION OVERVIEW
Kratos is seeking skilled electrical wiring technicians (levels I, II, and III) to join our growing production team in the manufacture of advanced switchgear, controls, and power distribution systems. in this role, you will work hands-on to wire and integrate complex electro-mechanical systems, supporting critical infrastructure across sectors such as utilities, defense, and renewable energy.
This is a high-impact, detail-oriented role where precision in electrical wiring, familiarity with schematics, and adherence to quality standards are essential. candidates should bring a strong foundation in electrical assembly practices, along with a commitment to craftsmanship and safety in every build. These positions offer a structured progression from Level I to Level III, with opportunities to advance into Lead Technician or Supervisor roles based on performance and skill development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (ALL LEVELS)
Assemble electrical sub-assemblies and electrical components from engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
Perform electrical adjustments, torque fasteners to specification, and conduct fit checks
Use hand and power tools to build control panels, switchboards, and associated wiring
Follow strict quality standards, safety protocols, and lean manufacturing practices (5s)
Perform basic to advanced electrical testing (depending on level), including use of multimeters, HIPOT testers, and power supplies
Interpret and complete build documentation, job travelers, and in-process checklists
Use of ERP systems (e.g., JobBOSS) and mobile applications for tracking work and logging data
Support continuous improvement efforts, collaborate with engineering and leadership on product and process enhancement

RESPONSIBILITIES BY LEVEL
Tech I / Entry - $20-$23/hr. DOE
Basic assembly of electrical parts and wiring harnesses under supervision
Read and follow simple assembly drawings and wiring diagrams, work orders, and assembly instructions
Strip and crimp wires, mount components, and plug connectors safely
Maintain a clean and safe work area (5s), wear required PPE, and follow all safety rules
Log completed steps on paper or digital travelers
Ideal background:
6 months to 1+ year of relevant hands-on experience (mechanical or electrical assembly, general manufacturing)
A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Tech II / intermediate - $24-$27/hr. DOE
All of tech i responsibilities in addition to tech ii responsibilities
Independent assembly of medium-complexity electro-mechanical systems
Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Perform light troubleshooting and basic electrical rework
Conduct in-process inspections for part orientation, correct wiring, and torque specifications
Adhere to UL manufacturing standards and support testing/QA functions
Ideal background:
2+ years of electrical assembly and wiring experience
Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
Tech III / advanced - $28-$34/hr. DOE
All of tech i and tech ii responsibilities in addition to tech iii responsibilities
Expert-level wiring and troubleshooting of complex control systems and switchgear
Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety standards
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on product improvements and lean initiatives
Conduct QA/QC inspections and generate reports on product and process conformance
Participating in the development of work instructions and SOPs
Ideal background:
3+ years of experience in ul-certified switchgear or control panel assembly (ul 508a, ul 891, ul 1558, ul 67, or ul 1008)
Leadership potential and strong technical communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
High school diploma or GED
Demonstrated electrical aptitude and experience using hand/power tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions
Commitment to punctuality, professionalism, and safety
Valid driver's license and clean background
Ability to lift 30-50 lbs. regularly
Ability to stand, crouch, or bend for extended periods
Comfortable working in a production floor environment with moderate noise and temperature changes
Preferred:
Completion of a vocational program, multiple years of direct experience, or military experience related to electrical systems
Familiarity with lean manufacturing (5s, kaizen)
Computer literacy (data entry, teams, ERP systems like JobBOSS)

What You'll Be Working On:
Switchgear Assembly: Assemble low voltage switchgear according to detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions, installing components such as circuit breakers, bus bars, relays, transformers, and control wiring.
Mechanical Assembly: Perform mechanical assembly of enclosures, mounting rails, and support structures, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
Wiring and Connections: Terminate and connect various types of electrical wires and cables, ensuring proper crimping, lugging, and labeling of connections, and adhering to color coding conventions and wiring standards.
Inspecting and Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections of assembled switchgear, performing continuity tests and other quality checks, troubleshooting and resolving any assembly or wiring issues.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
Electrical Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in the assembly and wiring of low voltage switchgear or similar electrical equipment.
Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Technical or vocational training in electrical or electronics fields is preferred.
Electrical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical principles and safety practices.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
Physical Requirements: Requires lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling all sizes of merchandise up to 50 lbs. Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily. Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Safety and Compliance: This position is designated a safety-sensitive position and/or is located in a safety-sensitive facility. Drug and alcohol program participation is required. Must be able to pass a background check.

Compensation:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $21-30/hour + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
