We are looking for a/an Assembler Prep & Finish to join our FE_WIBU team in United States . Your main tasks and responsibilities: Ability to measure in both metric and imperial. Follows program instructions, diagrams for setting fixtures, outlining tooling and sequence of operations for setup. Makes needed adjustments to equipment. Loads, unloads parts to and from machine and maintains appropriate monitoring of operations to assure proper machine functioning to finish parts include touch up painting and packaging/labeling/ for crating. Assists in maintaining and servicing of equipment as directed. Ensure components are cosmetically acceptable; ensure that dimensions meet customer requirements from process sheets and blueprints. Use various hand tools and/or overhead hoist as required. Check blueprints to verify machining dimensions. Conduct minor preventative maintenance procedures as scheduled. Make recommendations for productivity and/or method improvements. Ensure ISO guidelines are followed; follow Job Instruction Sheets and Tag Procedures etc. Report discrepancies to the Planner or Team Leader. Complete minor troubleshooting as required. Complete and maintain paperwork. Check machine for defects and repair if necessary Lift work piece manually, by forklift or by overhead crane, positions and secures against guides and stops. Maintains a clean work area, including his equipment, work supplies and materials. Complies with Federal, State, and local occupational safety, environmental, health and Safety and air pollution control regulations including machine safety with all safety precautions recommended by Machine manufacturers. Adhere to Sulzer safety standards of facility and actively participate in the company's Safe Behavioral Program & Take 5. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned To succeed in this role, you will need: Required: 2-3 years' experience in assembly or related Industrial experience Desired: High School Degree or GED Strong mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills Understand and follow oral and written instructions Forklift or Crane license considered an asset Ability to read and interpret production and sales orders. Experience in safe use, storage and disposal of metal chips & cleaning the work area etc. Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes and regulations pertaining to occupational safety, health, and air pollution control.
