Responsibilities: • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment, devices and components. • Troubleshoot, routinely inspect equipment and electro-pneumatic controls as necessary on automated equipment. • Report to Maintenance Supervisor on equipment condition and status as necessary. • Install all new equipment including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, electronic, and computer systems. • Maintain an extremely clean work environment. • Reduce machine downtime, improve throughput and overall performance of machines. • Maintain preventative maintenance schedules by thoroughly documenting all issues, repairs, parts used, recommendations, etc. • Must possess a sense of urgency on troubleshooting and repairing equipment for minimal downtime. • Possess excellent project/assignment completion record. • Ability to work independently. The AEO Assembly EHS leader will provide operational EHS support to the Assembly team located in building 800 of the Evendale GE Aerospace site, as well as the shipping and receiving team located within the same building. This position will work closely with operations to drive implementation of programs to ensure all federal, state, and local EHS regulatory and GE management system requirements are met. The successful candidate must be a proven leader, facilitator, and coach to promote EHS culture and ensure compliance to EHS regulatory requirements with a continuous improvement mindset. This position will act as a part of the broader Evendale EHS organization, which supports 6000+ employees campus wide, and is a VPP certified as well as Title V EPA site. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities: * Work closely with operations team to identify and address EHS issues related to site operations, equipment and site design, installation, and commissioning. This includes providing and presenting EHS KPIs. * Participate in audits, conduct worker observations, and complete risk assessments across the labs to assess compliance and effectiveness of campus EHS programs.
