Position Summary:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling, wiring, soldering, testing, and inspecting small electro-mechanical components used in sensor and analyzer products. * Assemble electrochemical sensors and electromechanical analyzers, and related subcomponents according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.

* Log production results, nonconformities and test outcomes accurately in manufacturing documents such as the DHR.
* Inspect components before assembly for defects or non-conformance.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S practices.

Position Summary:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling, wiring, soldering, testing, and inspecting small electro-mechanical components used in sensor and analyzer products. This position requires close attention to detail, steady hands, and adherence to established quality and safety standards. Working under the direction of the Lead or Production Manager, the assembler follows detailed assembly instructions, performs accurate and repetitive work, and supports overall production efficiency. The role also includes maintaining a clean and organized work area and performing all other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assemble electrochemical sensors and electromechanical analyzers, and related subcomponents according to engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Perform wiring, soldering, and mechanical assembly using hand tools and electronic testing equipment.
Log production results, nonconformities and test outcomes accurately in manufacturing documents such as the DHR.
Inspect components before assembly for defects or non-conformance.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S practices.
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to identify assembly issues and propose process improvements.
Follow all company policies related to safety, quality assurance, and environmental compliance.
Requirements
Essential/Preferred Skills:
1-2 years of work experience in electro-mechanical assembly, preferably in sensor instrument manufacturing.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
Prior experience with hand tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Work performed primarily in an office/manufacturing space.
Frequent sitting, standing, bending, and using small tools.
May involve handling chemicals used in assembly rooms.

About the Role
Apex Space is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Spacecraft Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Spacecraft Technician, you will play a critical role in the assembly, integration, and testing of our spacecraft. Your expertise in aerospace structures, avionics, and harnessing will be essential in ensuring the successful development and deployment of our advanced space systems.
Responsibilities:
• Perform assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) activities for satellite and spacecraft development projects, following engineering specifications, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Conduct structural assembly and integration tasks, including component installation, mechanical fastening, bonding, and precision alignment.
• Integrate avionics systems, including electronic components, sensors, and wiring harnesses, ensuring proper connections, routing, and functionality.
