Job Purpose:
You will work under the supervision of the Assembly Department Manager to build custom equipment based on designs provided through engineering drawings and blueprints and instruction manuals.
Job Responsibilities:
Obtain measurements using various measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, & gauges to ensure part dimensions, features, and tolerance requirements are met per print specifications
Safely and accurately assemble materials per written specifications and drawings
Follow all paperwork and documentation procedures including but not limited to: work orders, inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and others as required
Ensure communication flow down utilizing any means necessary; verbal, team meeting, taking notes, documenting instructions, documentation in the lesson learned log, etc.
Provide maintenance expertise, troubleshooting, and installation on equipment involving mechanical and electrical skills
Test and commission new and used equipment prior to installation
Work with project managers and engineers to develop project schedules and customer updates
Must be able to use a forklift and aerial lift, will train the right candidate
Must provide your own toolbox and mechanic tools, we will provide drill, driver, and specialty tools
You must also provide clothing that will protect you from varying weather conditions. Most work is done inside, but there are occasional outdoor projects at our facility.
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED is required
Must have, or have the ability to obtain a US Passport
At least 1+ year of prior experience or training in a manufacturing environment orrelated position such as a mechanic, maintenance technician, or service technician is preferred
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings including bill of materials and assembly instructions
Ability to perform tasks without supervision
Ability to lift heavy objects (25-50 lbs.)
Prior forklift experience/certification is preferred

This is a Safety Sensitive position that requires a pre-employment drug screen that includes marijuana (tetrahydrocannabinol - THC & nonpsychoactive cannabis metabolites- CBD), amphetamines, cocaine metabolites, opioids (including heroin, morphine, and codeine), and phencyclidine (PCP).
Shift Schedule:
Monday to Friday / 7:00am - 3:00pm (non-exempt) for Full-Time position

Job Details:
$24.00 hr. or depending on experience
*$1000 hiring bonus, paid at time of 90-day review
Requirements:
2-year mechanical work-related experience
High mechanical aptitude in engine, powertrain, and industrial mechanics
Forklift, overhead crane, scissor lift, plasma torch, and saw operation experience preferred
Able to troubleshoot and solve problems
Able to read blueprints and/or flow schematics
Able to read and interpret documents such as specifications and procedural manuals
Able to use hand tools including drills and grinders in a safe and effective manner
Knowledge in 12V electrical preferred, but not a requirement
Knowledge of MIG 0.35 mild steel gas shielded welding preferred but not required
Must be detail oriented and thorough in following protocol and procedures
Able to work alone and/or under supervision of the Refurb Manager
Attention to detail, a personal commitment to safety, and the willingness to learn are required for this position
Must be 18 years of age or older
