Sterile compounding lab is laboratory component of the course “Sterile Products and Biopharmaceuticals”. The laboratory activities include aseptic techniques, admixtures of injectable solutions, ophthalmic and TPN preparations. There are three lab sessions on three different days each week. Each lab session meets for 2.5 hours during the day. The overall commitment is 6 weeks during the spring 2019 semester. This is a part-time position. Required Qualifications Position requirements: An advanced degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical science, Pharm.D or Ph.D. degree is strongly preferred. Working experience with sterile compounding and applicable regulations that affect pharmacy practice. Demonstrated experience and ability to adapt teaching to various learning styles and levels of learners are highly desirable. Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.
