8. Promote the specific instructional program and the total institution within the occupational area and throughout the community.
9. Contribute to the welfare and advancement of the total community.
10. Keep up-to-date with teaching methodology, occupational information, and technology through professional development activities.
11. Incorporate technology into the teaching/learning experience.
12. Comply with applicable laws and regulations communicated through memos, staff meetings, and professional development workshops.
13. Adhere to faculty evaluations.
14. Attend all adjunct faculty in-service activities and all specially called meetings
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Two-year degree from a regionally accredited institution.
2. Three (3) years experience in technical field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to multi-task.
* Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and manage complicated tasks.
* Ability to utilize a PC and related hardware and software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Physical Requirements:

3. Ability to lift, move, or transport independently instructional equipment specific to the program.

**Opportunity and responsibilities:**
The School of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences (SFAAS ) of Auburn University is comprised of a group of faculty with diverse research and instruction interests and extension services in fish physiology and genetics, aquaculture, aquatic ecology and toxicology, fisheries management, contaminant impact assessment and management, conservation, and animal health and reproduction. Many of these areas of research relate to aquatic chemistry, especially for chemicals used in aquaculture, such as antibiotics, herbicides, nutrients and contaminants of emerging concerns, such as PFAS and microplastics. The successful candidate will have opportunities to collaborate with the SFAAS faculty as well as other units across campus to help enhance research, education, extension, and outreach at Auburn University. The successful candidate will develop an active, externally funded research program in aquatic chemistry that is directed toward applied questions in aquaculture, fisheries, and/or other aquatic sciences.
The successful candidate will also teach courses in the application of aquatic chemistry to the fields of aquaculture, fisheries, and other aquatic sciences. The School of Fisheries, Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences Fisheries at Auburn University has a long history of training graduate and undergraduate students to be leaders in research and education around the world.
