The MHS degree program is offered to the Pharm.D students as an option to obtain a concurrent master degree. The Pharm.D students enrolled in the MHS program take specialized courses in regulatory science and clinical research. Medical writing is a required course for the MHS degree and is designed to help the students in developing basic skills in scientific writing, reviewing medical literature, and gaining familiarity with medical documents common to the pharmaceutical industry. This is an intensive writing course; each student is required to write a manuscript by the end of the term. Class meetings are held in person on a weekday evening once per week for 15 weeks. Each class is 2.5 hours in length. Required Qualifications The ideal candidate for the adjunct professor should have an advanced degree in pharmacy, biological or medical science.
