The Occupational Therapy Department offers a five-year combined baccalaureate and master's program, a 5.5 year combined baccalaureate and entry-level OTD program, an entry-level master's degree program, and an entry-level OTD program. The MSOT program has been accredited by ACOTE since 1991, and the OTD program received full accreditation in December 2024. The OT program currently has 8 full-time faculty. The mission of the Occupational Therapy Department is to prepare professionals for leadership in the use of human occupation to promote people's participation in meaningful life roles and activities. In addition to Occupational Therapy, the School of Health Sciences includes programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Health Science, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, Public Health, and Social Work.
